Chojnik Castle
Located in Sobieszów, the medieval Chojnik Castle sits atop a large hill, offering breathtaking views of the Karkonosze Mountains from its tower. A fire in the 17th century turned this beautiful structure into ruins. Despite this, the castle remains a popular tourist attraction.
Miedzianka Brewery
A small village with a rich history, Miedzianka is a place full of contrasts that attracts tourists. Once a thriving mining center, it was a beautiful town; however, mining damage led to the displacement of residents and the demolition of buildings. The Miedzianka Brewery, which has not been forgotten, is now a popular spot where visitors can enjoy craft beer, have a delicious meal, and listen to tales from days gone by.
Szklarki Waterfall
The most recognizable waterfall in the Karkonosze Mountains is undoubtedly the Szklarki Waterfall. Located at an elevation of 520 m above sea level, it has a height of over 13 m. Its distinctive feature is the wide cascade formed by the falling water, which narrows toward the bottom.
Karkonosze Mountains
The beautiful, massive, and mysterious mountain ranges make the Karkonosze a popular destination for both mountain hikers and those who wish to closely contemplate the beauty of nature. Here, you will find numerous hiking and biking trails, spa resorts, sources of healing waters, the ruins of Chojnik Castle, and much more—all set against a backdrop of incredibly rich plant life.
